Funerals at St. Elizabeth’s Parish
At this most important time in the lives of people, St. Elizabeth Parish reaches out to assist families in preparation for the funeral rites of their loved ones. The process begins by calling your funeral home who will arrange for a meeting with the family. At this time, the details for the funeral rites can be discussed and dates and times set for them. Please note that we at the Parish are always available to speak to you and answer any questions that you may have.
We have updated our Music List. Our revisions reflect the needs of our Parish. Please note the three fixed examples if the family is not familiar or too distraught to choose from a long list. You will notice secular songs are omitted.
We try to incorporate only proper Liturgical Music sanctioned by the Catholic Church. If a family would like to request a song that is not on this list, please call our Associate Director of Music, Anita Wakim at 857-891-4388. Otherwise, please call Anita with the list at least 24 hours in advance so she may properly prepare. We want to do the best job we can for our families. In case the family asks for a song we do not know, please try to find the music so we can learn it. The 24 hour window will help us maintain our professional standards.
